Our festival hub, De Stadskas - the large glass greenhouse - opens on November 10th with the fourth edition of Hoge Woorden. It's the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with this stage for spoken word artists for free, presented by Marrit Jellema and in collaboration with City of Literature. Between November 10th and November 23rd, you can enjoy a program with many partners that will be accessible for free, and we will announce more details soon. Additionally, De Stadskas will be the place to be during our festival weekend on November 24th - 26th, where you can meet your fellow festival-goers and enjoy food and drinks at the pop-up restaurant.
On November 11th, the fifth edition of De Broeikas takes place in De Westerkerk and De Stadskas. This is an arts festival by and for young creators from the Northern Netherlands. Tickets cost €10 and can be obtained via debroeikasfestival.nl. The initial program includes artists such as Karel, Loupe, Caya Emmelkamp, Douwe Dijkstra, Aramis Arinze, Mees van Rijswijk, and more.
Finally, our festival period concludes with a weekend full of undiscovered art, ranging from horror hip-hop to literary dance moves and from young word artists to electronic pioneers. We will announce more festival programme by the end of next week.
