Musical journey about the boundary between man and nature

Nynke Laverman blurs boundaries. Together with producer and percussionist Sytze Pruiksma she creates adventurous, spherical music with an unambiguous message. In 2021 she released Plant: an impressive literary and musical theatre project which included a slow album release, a podcast series (produced by Explore the North) as well as two theatre tours. Due to their success she is now back with a live set packed with extended versions of the Plant songs. The show is one big trip, a gripping journey of catchy beats, surreal soundscapes and spoken word, allowing Nynke and Sytze to bring out the best in each other. With each song Nynkes impassioned voice draws you into yet another new magical world. As a result of their trademark drums and synths combined with ‘bird beats’ consisting of real bird sounds one now and then indeed imagines oneself to be actually surrounded by woods or the Wad (Frisian mud flats).
