Ziekenhuisproza (Hospital Prose) was the sequel to Middenstandsproza (Retailers Prose). The focus this time was on Leeuwarden's hospital, MCL. Four young writers engaged in conversation with four MCL employees, anyone from a telephonist to a doctor, or from a nurse to a cook. The young writers used the hospital stories and anecdotes they were told to create a new fictional story. Saturday evening at Explore the North 2016 (in De Friesche Club), it was not the writers reading out the story, but the interviewed members of staff.
The writers: Marc van der Holst, Lisa Weeda, Helena Hoogenkamp, Wout Waanders.
This programme part was Dutch spoken. You can find more information about the writers and some of the texts on the Dutch page of this project.
