Danish raging from our beloved northern scene
Without a doubt Pardans belongs to one of the most exciting northern scenes. The six-strong noise punk band from Copenhagen are good friends with the famous band Iceage, currently sharing two members (Patrick Rathbun, viola and Daniel Honore, saxophone). The band is expanding the beloved Danish scene with a new and jazzy sound by creating music inspired by a 1970s ‘no wave’ mentality. Pardans is experimental, unconventional and entirely unique, bringing together a distinctive mix of influences, ranging from bands from their own circle such as Lower, to Captain Beefheart and Scott Walker.
