Heart-breaking songs with a wink
Musical storyteller Lucky Fonz III is back again at Explore the North. In 2019 he enchanted our festival visitors with his catchy music full of humour and compassion. Lucky is one of the most popular singers and live artists in the Netherlands, known for hits such as Ik heb een meisje (I got a Girl), Linde met een E (Linde with an E) and Ik ben een sukkel (I’m a Loser).
After a number of successful theatre tours and brilliant festival performances is was time for Lucky Fonz III to return to the North in 2022 with an unique show, known for its remarkable combination of beautiful songs, distinctive lyrics, humour and compassion. Lucky Fonz III propels you back and forth between silent emotions and exuberant partying. It wasn’t a coincidence that 3voor12 (VPRO) voted Lucky one of the most influential Dutch artists, based on his great live reputation. So make sure not to miss this one!
