At Explore the North, this Irish singer and multi-instrumentalist will be performing with an eight-piece orchestra led by Kobe Proesmans and Aarich Jespers. With modified pianos, a flapamba, bass clarinet, double bass and homemade instruments, they create an entirely new take on Hannigan’s beautiful songs. Lisa Hannigan had the priceless opportunity of kicking off her career in the band of Damien Rice himself. Since 2007, when she decided to strike out on her own with her own projects, she has amassed a substantial fan base with her records Passenger and At Swim.
