Hilbrandt makes music about the dark side of ambition. The acoustic guitars and organs that featured on the debut album have been traded in for synthesizers and Auto-Tune. The band’s new music takes place on ‘a motorway where we always want to drive faster and do anything to overtake each other’. Expect a reverberating, danceable and synthesizer driven live show. Especially for Explore the North, Hilbrandt is collaborating with Groningen rapper, singer and designer Roelie Vuitton.
