Obaro Ejimiwe, who hails from London, is more widely known as Ghostpoet. At Explore the North he will captivate you with his enchanting poetical lyrics. The Briton considers his music a way of purely expressing himself and a medium for conveying his stories. While beats played a strong role in his early work, he has currently developed into an act backed by an entire band. His latest album is brimming with offbeat, addictive guitar licks, a bare driving bass, and especially the dark flow of the immediately recognisable low narrative tones of Obaro.
