Warm and jazzy
Warm, rhythmic and jazzy, is probably the best way to describe Bnnyhunna’s music. As a Ghanaian kid from the Amsterdam South East area Benjamin ‘Bnnyhunna’ Ankomah discovers how he can distinguish himself and explore his identity through music. Ultimately this led to him producing songs for – among others – Gaidaa, Rimon and Dolapo as well as touring the world with the likes of José James, Arp Frique and Yung Nnelg.
On stage as well as in his music he likes to experiment with photography, video, audio clips and poetry, in order to tickle the senses as much as possible. He thus creates an exciting listening experience, with jazz, soul, afro and hip-hop influences inspired by legends such as Pharrell and John Coltrane.
