MEETING BETWEEN ARTIST AND ACADEMIC WITH DAN HASSLER-FOREST
Today will feature an Oerol Lecture on constructive activism. Prior to the lecture, academic Dan Hassler-Forest (Media and Culture Studies scholar at Utrecht University) will be visiting Explore the North’s Nieuwe Werelden (New Worlds), a project where writers, visual artists and sound artists literally create new worlds and ponder the future in a constructive manner. During the lecture, art, science, academia and the audience will all join in considering positive resistance. Erik Willems will lead the discussion.
